On Sunday the 2nd of February, a formation of three Royal Air Force Merlin HC.3 helicopters landed at Groningen Airport Eelde for a short fuel stop. The Merlin HC.3 helicopters from 78th Squadron, with serials ZJ120/D, ZJ128/M and ZJ133/R, arrived from their home base RAF Benson and after an one hour and twenty minutes they were airborne again, heading for their next destination; Aalborg, Denmark.
